Sorry about the double post in the Rides section. As usual I somehow screwed up.

Anyway, I thought I'd post a close to the trip. I am healing very well. I should be riding in a few weeks and ready for a ride somewhere.

My VTX arrived home yesterday. I had some throw over saddle bags, tent, and sleeping bag attached to it when I left it in Nova Scotia. All arrived just like I left it.:smile2: There is really no damage to the motorcycle, just my leg and my pride.

I have to say Med Jet Assist, medjetassist.com , did me a great job. I highly recommend them. As long as I am touring by motorcycle I will have a policy with them.

leroys73, glad to hear you, bike, and stuff all made it home safely. Once the healing is done I hope you have many more years of happy riding. I am also very glad to read that you are pleased with MedJet. I have also use them for a number of years but fortunately have never had the opportunity to really try them out.

Thank you.

This is the first time ever signed up or had the need to use them. I meant to sign up last year when I went to Alaska. I am glad I did not need them. I actually rode much worse roads on that trip than this one and should have gone down. God was with me.

Yes, it is an insurance one hopes they never need. I'll renew next year you can bet.
