I have a 240 rear tire and I was thinking of dropping the air pressure to get a little better ride. I don't want to take a chance on damaging my rim. What is a low safe air pressure for a low profile 240 rear tire? Thanks... Smokin

You don;t. That tire rides harsh because it has no sidewall to absorb the bumps, not becuase of the tire pressure. Lower profile tires just ride harsh in cars or bikes. Lowering the pressures will only make denting the rim that much easier. I wouldn't go below 36 psi
