My HD buddy who got the Spyder and is now selling it is testing one of these in Memphis Saturday. He intends to keep his HD and add this kit at some point. He is having issues holding his bike weight due to hip an leg surgeries. Anyone seen one or know of anyone who has one? I'd like to get opinions on it..

Interesting concept. It would be nice if someone could come up with this option with the two wheels on the back!!!

I like these trike kits much better. http://www.mysterydesigns.com/tiltster.php

There was a member on Bareass Chopper forum and also a member here that went by the name of Dirtdobber , RIP, that put one of these on his Dyna. It was a bad ass trike with his hot rod motor he built, 134hp @148tq. There were lots of photos of the build on Bare's site, but they like a lot of photos here are gone thanks to the greedy Photobucket pricks. Here is a test ride video he took.

Never seen one, but looks pretty cool to me.
Making the front wheels tilt would be much easier and less expensive than making the rear wheels tilt, what with the drive & all.

That would have been my guess too.... but the price sheet for the tilting front said $10K for just the KIT!! More to install!!

I'd be a little bit squeamish in buying something looks like Joe-Bob rigged it up in his garage. Maybe there is tons of engineering and testing that went into these things... but maybe not.

I've heard of a "trike kit" that "leans", but the ones I've seen mount in the back instead of in the front, like this one does. That whole "leaning" thing is the main reason why I wouldn't consider going to a trike before, because that's the funnest part of riding, IMHO. Having ridden a Spyder, I'm not sure having the two tires in the front, even if it leans, would be my FIRST choice, though. Another possible problem, at least with "air cooled" HD bikes is that all that "suspension" up in front will possibly HINDER the "air" getting to the cylinders to cool the engine, ESPECIALLY in a "parade" situation, and you'd end up with "vapor lock" troubles.

That Tiltster, though, might be a better option.
