I've got an '06 VTX1800F with a Tornado air filter, Super Trapp 2 into 1 with disc for adjustable back pressure, and a Terry Components Fuel Management System. Anybody have any advise about the next modification I should make? My lessions with a Harley Davidson 88 inch 5 speed was that the heads in stock form a really restrictive and that big gains could be had just by porting the heads on a stock bike. Any advise about how I might be able to gain more low to mid range out of this VTX1800F?

MTC clutch ...

the stocker will start slipping and the more power you make
the faster it will slip ...

with the MTC you will put power to the pavement ... lots of
posts on the topic if you do a search ...

may also consider a 1300 rear drive ... taller gearing so you
can use the lower gears longer (2.80 versus 3.10 stock)

finally ... nitrous ... again, do a search.

and if money is no object, a 2000cc kit ... yikes.

If you are going to pull the heads off, mill them for more compression.

You will have to run higher octane fuel but guaranteed more power.

Like directly power% per point% of increased compression,'
