Its like a rash of air clear questions out there and I hope that I am not repeating this but, I am looking at purchasing a D&M knockoff spike air cleaner and the add says comes for hardware to mount to an S&S carb. Does the adapter for the VTX allow me to mount this style. And where is a good place to get a goodlooking cheap adapter? I have included a picture of the aircleaner. I like the look of this style more than the tornado and I hope I can get it to work. I am not really looking to modify anything I am looking for pretty much a bolt on application. Thank you in advance

the 44 is for the 1300 and the 45 is for the 1800 if i read it right

btw i just bought that same spear yesterday now i cant wait to get it in and on

I really like the look of that style. I know there are about as many different adapters out there as there are air cleaners. I want to find one thats going to work I know the bolt pattern on the VTX carb won't change but if there is a differece between the S&S carb and a harley carb? I want to make sure I have whats needed when I get everything. You will have to post pictures and install write-up when you gwt yours in. IMO that is the best looking spike avail out there!
