I have an 03 1800R and want to get an air/fuel ratio check done and would like to know the upper and lower limits of safe operation. The bike is stock with the exception of vtxexhaust.com slipons. They are using the dynojet research dyno and it measures from 10:1 to 18:1. Thanks much, Tom.

I know 13:1 is considered the ideal ratio, depending on the factors of temp. humidity, type of fuel, etc.. 8)

14.7:1 is idea for a perfect world, but don't get hung up on a number, you give the motor what it wants, it can be off the sacle rich ,lower than 10:1 and run great, this is the job of the tuner to fiqure out what the motor wants, and not use a fixed number to tune by
