BAK should flow much better than the HyperCharger. If you like that look. K&N has one that looks similar and uses part of the factory air box. Very easy to install and probably has more filter area than any other air kit.
Its very cheap too but will probably hit your leg. Autozone will order them for you for a better price than almost anyone.
HDL i think has them too at a very fair price.
They also offer a billet milled version too.
IMO the best combination of looks and performance is the Thunder Hurricane for $254 at HDL. Looks great and is among the top performers.
Just a side note, ordered my Hurricane from HDL on July 3rd. Just heard today that it is backordered till Aug 15 and then will be shipped to me. Hope you have better luck with your order. I love the look and can not wait to get it. Mine is for a 2005N.
G’day guys ..I’m very limited in Aust for parts & things don’t go well ordering from the US. I can’t locate a set of progressives (that so many in the US seem to love) ..yet I can get a pair of YSS RZ362 - apparently these fit the 1800c
Anyone tried them ? Chromed are about equiv $600usd here
Hi, I'm looking for the Barnett clutch springs # 501-48-06129 for my 1800 does anybody know were I could get these in Canada. I went to Barnett and they want over 40.00 bucks for shipping, they are nuts. thanks
Just curious, what’s a happy range for RPMs when you’re cruising? I do something like 2500-4000, but I have gone up to 5K. FYI today I was on the freeway and when the clock read 90 mph the tach read 3800 RPMs.
anyone experience with these combined with forward controls?
I don't care for highway/crash bars. and none will work with forward controls, only with the oem mid-controls. I am wondering if these will work seeing as they mount to the controls at the same point vs. a highway bar that is...
