We're lucky to have a walk-out basement..... and then I rented a concrete saw and replaced the 36" door with a 44" door.

So, HUGE difference in the ease of care and feeding of the little motorbikes.
No day too hot or too cold.

This is last year's "winter" picture. They're all tucked into a nice, warm basement.

Wow, I knew you had a lot of license plates; I did not know that there were bikes attached to them.

Now we're was I ?

Oh yeah, I got this free windshield, see. Somebody had hacked it some - and so a 'lectric jigsaw and a bastard file and several sandpaper grits and it came out pretty decent

OK, rummaging thru the spare parts box - discovered Memphis Shades hardware for lower wind deflectors, and they actually fit.

Here's the first prototype for the plastic portion.

Welded on heat shield and welded in straight through baffle is like my HardKrome 2.5" classics.
A number is stamped on a weldment 8" from the rear top pipe facing the wheel.
Aluminum removable end caps.
After a bit of cleaning, it appears that's exactly what they are (minus the end caps)

Good job on the windshield/deflectors.
I should make some deflectors. Once in awhile some particles get into my eyes.
HK 2.5 are a great fit for the 1300C.
A little extra baffling to reduce clanging and it would be a good package.
I do not like those huge heavy OEM pipes. I tried some cheap slip-on mufflers, turned brown.
Less than 6 months after VTX purchased HK installed.

Yeah, that OEM exhaust is HEAVY ! But this bike is running sooooo well with it

In other news, I ordered the galactic standard Cobra passenger backrest and rear rack from Dennis Kirk on Monday afternoon and it arrived around noon today. The quality on these is quite excellent.

Gotta have some place to tie on stuff
