I would like F owners opinions on a winshield that would look decent on the great lines of the F. I have needed one for a while now but just couldn't ruin the looks of the bike, but with the long ride to Sturgis not too far off, I need to get serious. If you have any pics that would also be helpful, thanks in advance to everyone. I am 5'9 in height so a big one is not neccesary, and I would prefer a swithblade if I could find one that had a good look.

I run a Switchblade Deflector on mine. I tried the Chopped and Shorty as well, but I had major helmet buffetting, and I didn't want to add lowers. The Deflector isn't perfect, but it redirects the wind off of my chest, and since it's adjustable, I was able to get rid of the buffetting...SC

No pic but here is my opinion :)

First off I can’t stand the look of a windshield :)

1800F 13,000 miles
But I use the Honda performance shield. $500.00 while spent for road trips.
To short for me but the best I have found. Great air flow great lexan shield.
Comes with an anti glare cover for your Speedo. (Not using it but I can see why you would)
I remove the shield between road trips and insert four 6mm bullet bolts from a license plate kit any auto part store for about $5.00 in to the bar for the wind shield it take a little longer to remove but while worth it.

Saber 1100 2001 45,000 miles
I have a Memphis fats and can’t stand it $300.00 plus  may be I am just to picky
To flat no good air flow
Bad plastic hazed up real fast
Ugly mounts. Order extra bolts ASAP there free just call after you get the shield they will break,

1800C 2003 8,000 miles
I have a sport shield on it helps for road trips but I still take off between trips

If you do not mind remove it. My recommendation is the bigger the better and air flow from a curved shield helps a lot.
I not sure on this one but I feel I get better GPM with the Honda shield on the F model the air flow thing.

I have the same shield on my 1800C and i like it a lot. You still get some wind but it takes a huge amount off your chest at higher speeds and removes in 1 quick pull without tools.

You can also get taller shields to add to the SwitchBlade release system. This shield works very well if you wear a full face and i only get mild buffetting with a Fulmer half unless im really hauling a$$.

BTW im 6'1" so your results may vary.

I have 05 F sect 3 with Honda line windshield. I'm 6'3' and I find it to short. I found a company called Clear View who makes a taller windshield. That will fit the Honda brackets. The only kicker is that Honda has only one size windshield for the price they charge. ouch! I hate to spend another $200 to have one that fits. I also found out that Corbin is coming out with a faring for the F. Time will tell witch way I’ll go.

I have an '06 "F", with a Memphis slim 19" shield. I'm 5'10". It's has a sportier appearance than the fats, but still provides good wind deflection from my chest. It is somewhat adjustible in height and angle, so I was able to get rid of a lot of the helmet vibration.

I just put the Hondaline Sport-Custom on my F. I had a memphis and a boulevard in the past. This shield looks great on the bike. Does not ruin it one bit. My bike is really customed out and it still looks good. Ill post pics later for you. It comes off fairly easy, the 2 bars that hold it on, the top one comes off easy, the bottom will have to stay. It doesnt look bad.

Sorry... don't think there is a shield out there that looks right on the "F"! Really! I bought a Memphis 19", should have bought the 21"... (I'm 6'3") The only time I've had it on is for the long rides, otherwise it's sitting in the garage.
