Went to Maysville yesterday to visit a painter and a buddy of mine came along on his RK to ride and enjoy the afternoon sun.

A bit windy out down the 58 and we made a couple stops before his house in Hubert, Bruce not far from yours just the other side of 24.

Anyhow we talked for about a hour and I had no idea the storms were coming in thick. Yes, to coin a phrase I got drenched. Had to stop twice going back across town....what a mess by the time I made it back to the house.

Just had to say it was a nice afternoon until the sky cracked open.

My first clue was getting briefly pelted by hail. Then lightning started flashing all over the place, including very close to the highway. Then the wind. Then the rain, blowing sideways. It was big fun, except for the lightning, rain, hail and wind.

Nothing to do with the rain, but noticed that you were going to see a painter. I live in Hubert and was thinking about getting the bike painted. Any info. would be appreciated.

Logoff I met Robert, the guy that runs Timeless Customs.

he has some great work done on his bik and his shop is a quality place to paint. Down draft booth and everything he said made sense. Should have gone there to start with.

If anyone ever refers you to a "business" called Color Pros, painter named Jeremy, walk away without a consideration, me thinks he is color blind.

but anyhow, Timeless is in Maysville and the guy is definetly good with bikes and old cars. There were a couple really sharp rides there in his showroom.

Washed the bike

Yep, I got caught in the rain yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, I was within 20 miles of the house. I beat the thunderstorms home. On the bright side, I don't have many bug guts left on the windshield. I was bound and determined to enjoy the ride yesterday - it was the first time in over a year I've had my passenger along for the ride
