Does anyone have some advice as to where I can get a tall, padded backrest plus a luggage rack for an '03 VTX 1800? Need the height to properly affix my convertible bag and the rack for support. Thank you,

U should list the model of bike for proper fitment….start with ebay…then maybe a model specific google search…others will be along..good luck

Ps…I ride/rode my 1300r solo…but really like my paladin quick release….my brother uses a quick release Jardine on his 1300c…just FYI…

Good luck. The bike is going on 17 years since the last VTX rolled off the line. Aftermarket parts are scarce. Type your model into Google and start clicking. Bring some refreshments because you're going to be there a while. Ebay, junk yards are a few places to start

Depends on spacing on fender rails…as spike says finding is gonna be the challenge…personally Im not familiar enough with the 1800 to know what interchanges between models…let alone a 1300…good luck

No, the C model and all the other models have different fender rail bolt spacing. So you need to get one for an 1800 C model or you'll be drilling new holes in chrome

Just an FYI, 1800 R/S/T and 1300 R/S/T have the same rear fender and fender rail. I am not sure the same can be said between 1800/1300 C models.
