Just got back home from offshore. Went out to the building to check on the bikes. Noticed tha tank looked like it had something on it. At closer look the paint was bubbling. New bike with only 1200 miles on it. Well just got back from the Honda shop in Brookhaven, Ms (where I bought the bike) and service man said no problem. Ordered me a new tank. I know I'm still under warranty, but like the service these people give you. Up and beyond. So a big tumb up on the service from them.

Looks like you've got a good dealer, which is nice. And +1 on it happening during normal warranty instead of 3 days after.

It's a 06 Black. Hoping my new tank will be in next week. Don't know how quick Honda sends the replacement parts.

The black on my 04 has sucked since the first week! It is just too soft! You can breath on it & it will scratch :shock: ........................I'm really looking forward to a custom paint job this winter. Now if I could just figure out if I want to go with a "N" rear fender or a 240 with a short fender............................................To many decisions to little time :lol: .................................. Rod
