I am running an ME 880 200 on the rear and the OE Dunlap on the front. I noticed today that it is bald as I am.... What is the best front? Should I go with the ME880?? I saw there is a lower one one the direct line. Your thoughts are always valuable.

front tire?

I've used Dunnies, metzs,Coneys and now an Avon and they are all ---- from 3-7 thousand miles and they are all shot. I put the Avon venom on last fall and its already toast... with 42 lbs air pressure. So I will try to make this one last the rest of the summer, doubt it.

I'm a BIG fan of the Metz 880, but Avon and Bridgestone make excellent tires as well. Any one of these will beat the stock Dumflop hands down. The Elite 3 series Dunflops supposed to be a much better tire than the OEM model, but I'm not about to buy any to find out.

Just MY opinion,

I got 12k on the front Metz. I liked it. Now, Iam running an Avon, which handles real nice thru the twisties. Got only 1k on it-- can't predict yet how many miles i will get out of it. I suggest you go with one of these- which ever you can get the best buy on. Can't go wrong with either.

I run Bridgestones front and rear, now have 14000 on the front still in good condition. I got 12000 out of the Batlax on the rear and replaced it with another.
