We need some help finding resonable places to stay on or near the Blue Ridge between Asheville and Front Royal. We are taking a ride tomorrow in that direction and thought we'd better see what everyone knows about the area.

Stay where we were last weekend, Quality Inn & Suites in Arden. Exit 37 off I-26, I don't remember the phone number and the sticky is gone from the board, but it was pretty nice place. Maybe someone else will chime in with the number.

I've not been but I've been planing this for a month or so. I intend to ride the length of it next month.

Try the Pisgah Inn its located south of Asheville at Milepost 408.6. It's the highest elevation for lodging on the Blue Ridge Parkway at over 5,000 feet.

Just was down the BRP two weeks ago...In Waynesboro we stayed at a Holiday Inn express that was $80 per night and very clean and new. On the BRP we stayed at the Peaks of Otter Lodge which was around $100 but very peaceful and beautiful but somewhat rustic (no TV and simple accomodations). If you are traveling with your Significant Other end the trip staying in Strasburg VA (Near Front Royal) at the Hotel Strasburg.

hey.. if you're stayin for the weekend, you should stop by our Virginia VTX Riders Club BBQ bash on Sunday in Fredricksburg.

Last year we had about 50 VTX's, this year there'll be more.

Check out the Sky-Line Inn in Little Switzerland..not much more than the Quality Inn and right - and I mean right on the BRP...really cool place! And take 226A loop out and back for a really fun ride!

About 25 miles north of Hwy321 to Blowing Rock and Boone NC is a resterant and motel right on the parkway> Can't say anything about the rooms but they have good food. People I have talked to that stayed there said it was nice.
To bad I rented out my Time share this year, it's right there at hwy 321.
