The clutch cable at the lever has a funky bend to it.
A ferrule could be missing or some weird bend. Not good for clutch cable life..
Left handlebar switch cable should go down behind the top bridge.
Same thing for the right grip switches...
1300S. US lights. Looks good, extra chrome trim added.

It's a vtx1300S from 2003. It has 37000 km. It got a candy red paintjob with subtle black skulls in it. It has Vance and Hines on it but i'm thinking about buying quiet baffles. Also not the original handlebars.
I love the color, it really is an amazing paint job. I don't really like skulls, buy they are so subtle it is actually really pretty!

What can i do about the clutch cables?

Is the clutch cable being pushed at that angle because the left control is rotated that much??
The clutch cable looks to be a little short of optimum.
You can see the pix here, plus info.

2003 1300S the first year 1300 and the ONLY year with an electric fuel pump. FYI..
Get a spare cable, carry it with you.
When the cable strands began to fray/break I noticed my lever was not retracting completely.
None have broken on me but they were frayed.
I placed a rain suit between the windshield and the bars for a few years.
This changed the cable geometry some and it was wearing at the ferrule on the lever.
Some lower clutch cable brackets do not align correctly and have excessive wear.
Clean and lube every 2 - 3 years.
