I just put new brake pads on the front and now I have a buzzing, and I can hear it over the pipes. Are you sure its not the pads?

davey, I have an "05" and I hear the same thing towards the rear of the bike, but on left and right hand turns both at 10 to 15 mph. Unfortunately I don't know what it is either. :?

It's your tires. Yes, the tires. Tires will make a roar/growl/whine when they are worn or cupping and the sound is noticabely louder when in corners. Check the tire pressures(which you should be doing at least weekly) keep them at 38 or 40 psi. If they are cupping badly the tire pressure won't help new tires is the fix.
