Another Eleanor build....I like some of the cars styling...big time stang fan...welll most of the years...lol..enjoyed the movie also...

Sweet! I had a 65 stang came factory with 289 4 barrel carb , 4 speed Muncie , posi rear. It kicked many a big blocks @ss. Not all ,but many.

Thats what I always thought, Ford Hi-po cars had the top loader, not a Muncie like GM products. Thought I'd missed class that day, LOL.

a different... from the factory Jaguar had GM auto thm 400

In May 1977, it was announced that the automatic transmission version of the 12-cylinder cars would be fitted with a General Motors three-speed THM 400 ...

Just throwing this out there as a memory jog, GM also had a Saginaw manual trans,. and another option was the Borg-Warner T-10. Muncies had the M20, M21, M22 'rock crusher'.
