VTX'ers, my first post,

I cannot unlock the mystery that is the chrome trim for 1800N's.
Honda offers them on the Spec 2 (formally spec 3).
I have a Spec 1, and have been chroming it out since I bought it this summer.
I cannot for the life of me find a single source which sells that chrome trim as after market. Not even Honda offers it.
Trim is available for every other VTX model.
Such a frustrating endeavor. You would think it has to be available.
if any out there in VTX land can lend a hand, it would be much appreciated.

Ride on,

David from So. Florida

Honda has to have it my 04 N-spec 3 came with it from the factory.I'd assume the radiator is the same for all the models.

thanks dboyz. It looks like it would be around $200 to buy the parts. I wonder what it would cost to just get it chromed?

DBoyz- PP tech options for VTXs

DBoyz,
Thanks for the tips on the chrome.
I am in Pembroke Pines as well.
Have another question- I need to install some electrical accessories- Zumo 550, power pod, etc.
I am not thrilled with Rick Case Honda.
Do you use anyone else in the area to work on your bike?

Love your bike- see at the Toy Rally?

:agree: That's 1800NR expressing is disdain about Rick Case's motorcycle service.

I have done all the work on my bike myself.
See the post on the local board for Sunday, early start from Griffin Road. Chime in on that post if you want to join us.
