You won't know you need it until you take it apart. After taking out all the plates, If a rivet is missing you need a new basket
clutch basket,
im getting ready to have my 08 1800f clutch changed with all barnett parts including new bolts, how many of you had to replace basket also? or were you able to just file it, its not apart yet , or how many did nothing with that part, just looking at all my possibilities as it is not apart yet its only got 16k miles, but im not sure how po rode the bike , thank you guys for your input

Damn. What does that? Dropping the clutch all the time?
Most likely, burn outs, racing, wheelies...plain old abuse
