My 06 VTX1800 sat for 2 years. The clutch was acting up before it sat. When I opened the master cylinder the other day it was all sludge, no fluid. I cleaned all the parts and flushed the hose with Seafoam until it ran clear. I also cleaned the slave cylinder. I cleaned the inside of the master cylinder and have had Marvel Mystery oil and Seafoam sitting in the cylinder for 2 days. I have the hose disconnected from the cylinder and I’m getting no response from squeezing and releasing the handle. No air bubbles and no liquid draining from the hole where the hose connects. My question: Are the holes at the bottom of the cylinder still clogged or does the clutch need to be assembled and under pressure before the fluid moves as it should? Thanks in advance guys!
