I want to put on the heavy duty clutch springs and am wanting to know if you have to remove the exhaust, I have D&D slipons.

I haven’t started the install of my clutch and springs yet (Cobra exhaust) but I’d say if it looks like you can remove all the clutch cover bolts and slip the clutch cover off, you shouldn’t have to remove the exhaust regardless of the exhaust system you have.

Yes, U really need to remove the Pipes... Even if U could get to some of those bolts, its MUCH easier taking the pipes off and doing the job..

Less chance of a wrench slipping and causing damage to your pipes as well.

Good News… for me only…
Because I have to remove the pipes to get my timing cover off to also do my valve adjust …
Ain’t I the lucky one! … for a change… !!!

I would recommend that you tape a rag on to the top of the clutch cover. Since I don't have the steadiest hands in the world, I scratched mine trying to get the pipe back on. :oops:
