Okay, I'm pretty sure that I confirmed that the Cobra "short" sissy bar mounts on the two rearward holes of the fender rails on the 1300C (and 1800C, for that matter).
I almost ordered the short version, but got a great deal on a used standard version, and just assumed it mounted in the same location and that the actual sissy bar itself was the only difference.
Now I'm reading Cobra's online installation instructions, and they say the brackets mount on the front and middle holes.
Anyone who has the Cobra Standard on a C, or has seen and remembers the mounting location, please let me know. This is an issue for me because way back in 2004 I mounted Kury silver bullets on my fender rails, between front and middle holes, for turn signals.
On a side note, maybe someone would be interested in purchasing a set of mint fender rails for a C with Kury silver bullets already installed . . . sounds like a topic for the classifieds.
Thanks in advance for the time, Everyone.
