How do I go about opening info on a floppy that the computer tells me it needs to know what program created it to open it? WHEW.......
And no big words, OK. :?
Have a resume that was done for me at MailBox Etc. and would like to make some changes since I may be out of work shortly. Called them and now they are UPS store and don't know what program was used either.

RSM is the file extension for the Resume file associated with WinWay Resume Writer

Looks like you gotta but it, to use it. If you hunt around you might be able to find a conversion utility to open it with Word or something like that.

RSM files are indeed Winway files. The application is forms based so there is no direct converter to open a .rsm file in Word or other WP application. The only way to do it is to purchase the cheapest copy of Winway you can find (Amazon, Ebay, Half.com), open the file and save as an .rtf file which will open in word.

Looks like you nailed it!

Joe - Might be easier (and cheaper) to just re-type in Word.

Talked with Lisa, Simplmans honey and she said scan it and transfer it automaticly into M.Word. Worked like a charm. Printer is a HP psc1315, scanner and copier also.
Thanks for all the info guys and thanks to LISA
