I have a 2002 1800c. Bike was running perfectly fine until I noticed sweet smelling steam coming from custom crank breather between the heads. I lost 2 quarts of coolant in the matter of a few days from the breather before dummy light kicked on. Refilled and same thing happened. Engine is out and everything looks good. Cylinders were bored and no sign of cracking in water jackets. Heads are fine. Water pump shaft and seal possibly?
