Only D&D exhaust that I know of for a VTX is a slip-on muffler for the 1800C. Just found out they make one for the R model as well.
found them at Hyperformanceparts.com

rode the D&D for years, looks exactly like stock but with a much deeper rumble, you wont see many bikes with the D&D. I like it.

The guy lives like 2 hours away and dosent have a digital camra. Hes discribing them to look like V&H pipes but with a much deeper sound ( thicker metal I guess )

I would really like to get a picture of them. What hes discribing and the pictures above do not match up.

Anybod else?

Also, are they not around much cause they are junk? or cause they are expensive? I think he told me the dealer charged $1000 for pipes. That sounds crazy expensive to me.

D&D pipes

My wife has a set on her 883 Hugger and the look great and sound great. So much so that my brother got a set for his Heritage. They haven't had any problems with them, nor have I heard of any problems from other sources. I haven't seen or heard any on a VTX yet.

The company is called D&D Performance Exhaust. They are located in Fort Worth, Texas. The prices I've heard range in the $500+ for the 1800 C.

You can get pics, dyno charts and other info here:

Yeah....I think the bulk of their work is producing exhaust systems for sport bikes.
