I'm having a lot of trouble removing my HPP.
and connecting it back stock.
The one of the feed wires to the unit is the red/yellow wire
from the MAP sensor.

Mine is loose black wire.
I hard wired the black MAP wire to the white HPP wire, doing so I "clipped off the connector.Could not figure which pin hole it should go back in.

Mopar said goes in the top left pin on the grey connector.
This am I pulled the seat and there is a red/yellow wire already in that pin.

I pulled the tank(thanks Tapper for the tank disconnect mod).
I pulled the MAP sensor and it has a black wire taped, not soldered to the red/yellow wire.
Traced the wire harness and found the"clipped"red/yellow wire?
So I guess I'll solder the now black MAP sensor wire to the red/yellow wire in the pin.
I'm not much of a wrencher,but I'm becoming one.

Also I looked at the spark plugs that came on the bike
they are NGK5's
The stockers should have been NGK6's

So did I buy a used bike?
How can I tell?

NGK IFR5L11 was correct for 2002 bikes.
In 2003 they changed to the 6 plug.

But Honda did not install HPP in their bikes stock.
If you did not install the HPP...

Also be aware that there are both a Red/yellow wire and
a Yellow/red wire in out wiring harness.

I installed the HPP.

The"clipped"wire matches the wire at the MAP sensor and the tpo left pin on the unit.
