You had a problem before and the two extra diodes did not solve it. That's a big clue that your problem lies in the actual turn signal system.
I see that you installed the cheapo Chinese LED turn signals. Were you aware that the running light and turn indicator on those are not on separate circuits? It is the same branch with just a different resistor inline, not even an isolation diode. That causes the turn signal power to cross-bleed into the running light circuit.
If you want to keep these LED lights, the only solution is isolation of the circuits, should be doable with just one diode in each turn signal housing.

I bought this bike about 4 weeks ago and am slowly undoing the previous owners gaffs. These blinkers were on it when I got it but the red lights were in front and amber in back.
Are you saying that if I buy a more suitable pair of blinkers to replace the Chinese LED cheapos, the diode fix should work?
I second what other said. Can't have red in the front and amber in the back. Unfortunately the LEDs are the ones producing the color, not the lenses. (some turn signal have white LEDs and you can switch the lenses to change the color) While the lenses can be swapped on these LEDs (just unscrew the decorative cap), it still does not help with the color LEDs.

And yes, I am absolutely saying that replacing the malfunctioning LEDs with ones that run on separate circuits should solve the problem. You can test it. If you have the luxury, disconnect (desolder) the yellow wire in each LED. That is the park lamp circuit that is being cross-bled into. If you disconnect it on all 4 turn signals, your signals should work properly. They are still dim as hell and not really visible during daytime but that is a different topic.
Let us know what you find!
