i just bought a new VTX 1300R i want to swap out my stock exhaust with a stock 1800 exhaust. is this possible without doing any mods to my carb?

looks

i like the flat end, the slash downs don't impress me and take away from the rear fender. also , the exhaust is bigger without drilling i can get a meater lope.

+1 on wondering why, have you heard 1800 on 1300,inquiring minds want to know. Good luck on this one.

The 1800 exhaust will not fit on the 1300

Yes it will not fit and you won;t get a deeper sound if anything it will be a little more muted. The 1800 has a larger volume exhaust due to the extra displacement of the engine.
