I cant imagine a single muffler causing any problems...as for sealant no such thing on these bikes ...crush washers either OEM or auto parts store...there is a list of PN#”s in how to section...good luck
As a newbie here, not sure how "Darkside" got its name. But it does not matter.
Anyway, do most riders just do the rear, or the front, or both.
From what I gather, going darkside is supposed to improve road feel and improved handling...

Took the fender off and disconnected the tail light wires.
The previous owner had installed a signal light buzzer, and used these .
Don't use them even if it's convenient.
The wires are frayed, and will cause problems from vibration.
