My hubby and I are traveling from Indiana to the New England States next week. On the way back we are going to ride across your beautiful state. Is Highway 6 a good road? Any suggestions on places to eat, stay,do? Thanks for any and all info, and for letting me jump in to your forum space. :)

It is an awesome road however I just moved to the state not to long ago (from one of the most beutiful states Maine, may be a little biased) and am not to familiar with the good places to eat, stay, or see up that way. I am sure someone else will chime in with some more useful information though.

I have only been on portions of Route 6 but that is definately the road to take. I'm actually planning to ride the entire route sometime this summer.

I know you will enjoy the ride!

You should definitely ride Route 6.

There are lots of mom-and-pop places to eat. If you like the diner experience, Pipher's Diner in Wysox, PA is a classic; the Wellsboro Diner is also nice. You won't run out of good eats on that road.

Thanks Jewel, This helps. I think one of these was also recommended to me on another forum I'm on. Must be a good place. Diner's and motorcycles just seem to go together :)
