But to my great horror... it had an 1/2" gash in the seat. I bought the seat from GM Cycles on Ebay for $289.00 -- I've seen the same seat listed elsewhere for $379.00! Anyway, I got in touch with Great Mills Cycles, and they reassured me, that they would reinburse me for the cost of the seat and shipping both ways. The only clitch is, they won't sell me another one because of the high risk for lost on their part (almost $140.00 CDN in shipping). I can understand their position on this... so I'm back to looking for a seat, but after seeing the Saddlemen up close, I think I'll just end up getting another one from some other source.

The thought has crossed my mind, but actually I won't do that -- I'm now looking at the Renegade solo with either sport or touring pillion... Thanks to TennX's suggestion.

what a bummer... you been waiting forever . tough call... ride like it is with a discount of course..... start the wait all over again. Wish me luck I just ordered mine from the stealer today. Wife works there so I get a discount 10%over cost. If they ever take the discount away she will have to find a job that pays. But for now it has cut down on my ebay shopping. Now i know what i am getting and who i am dealing with. Good luck on the rest of the seat journey brother.
