A big hello to all you VTX owners south of the 49th... I'm sure most of you already know, but just in case there are a few who haven't heard, FRIDAY the 13th is a big deal in the small town of Port Dover Ontario. Every Friday the 13th, riders from far and wide converge on Dover for some amazing entertainment, lot's of vendors, show and shine, contests and more. Usually the 13th ends up being in February or December and it get's a bit nippy headin out on the bike that time of year... This year there are 2 Friday the 13th's. One already passed in April, about 5000 bikes in total, but the next 13th is NEXT FRIDAY... Early estimates put the total crowd at 100,000 plus. Only bikes are allowed into town, cagers are bused in from the outskirts.

Word has it the locals ( that is within 100mile radius of Port Dover) are planning on gettin there early... The group I ride with are leaving at 5am to arrive at 7:30am after some breakfast along the way... This is the first summer Dover in quite a while so it's gonna be a biggie!!! Last time we had Canadians come from British Columbia....So how bout it PONYZ101, you're only half the distance..As for Mikepid, you're closer to Dover than me...nuff said, see you there...

My C is in the shop AGAIN :evil: and I spoke with them this morning and explained oh so politely that if I don't get it back FIXED in time for Dover, someone will pay. :twisted:
So... I will either be in Dover or in Jail... I'll keep you posted

I will be there with about 30-35 others from the Buffalo suburbs.
It's a great time!
Haven't been there since last summer, as the last one we planned was the Friday of the October ice storm.
I highly recommend it!!!
