Okay I followed the service Manual and read the posts on here replacing my front brake pads. The front little nub on the pad just didn’t seemed to be seated right. I reinstalled and same thing. I did not see any spring fall out. I figured I would see how it works. The brakes when pressed oscillate so I am wondering if maybe those springs aren’t in there. Can I order those separate? I have and 1300S and it’s hard to see up into the front of the caliper.

I see the spring pad (6) and the spring retainer (7). Is it the retainer? How does it work?

I see you have aftermarket pads.
Have you matched/compared the old and new together?
Some clips on the link below.

Good point the new ones have a larger space where the clip holds in. I wondered if that would be an issue. I did see on posts to just get Honda pads after I bought the aftermarket. Will this be an issue?

Did you place new pads over the old pads and make a comparison in dimensions?
All dimensions have to be the same.
The OEM pads are recommended over any other brand.
