Hey, so I've searched and found that the maximum effective speeds for shifting is 30-60-80-110. However, I couldn't find anything about the lowest speeds for the gears. I know that when it sounds like its chugging, your in too high of a gear for the speed and all, but I would like reasonable lowest speeds per gear.

For example, if I'm chuggin at 15 in 2nd, am I in to high a gear?
What about 20 in 3rd?

I'm not looking for peak performance here, just speeds that won't inflict damage to the engine. The reason I ask is that I like to keep in a higher gear going through neighborhoods so as not to be excessively loud.

If the bike is bucking you like a bronco, it's too slow. I have been in 5th and at 45mph, and I short shifted to get there(fuel emergency). If you go past the bucking stage it's gonna stall and you'll go down. 8)
