Here are some pics of Glen's double flag mounts relocated to be a little higher and more visible. I like it better up higher where they can be seen more clearly. :D :D

Hey HB, I like what you did. Very Cool.
The aluminum I use is easy to work with. I'll have to look into other styles.
Thanks, Glen
Thanks, Glen. I just went to the local Ace Hardware and picked up a short strip of aluminum to match what you used. After a little modification of the angles on the flag mount you delivered, I lined the bottom of your bracket and the top of the piece from Ace with some rubber toilet gasket material (very thick). Then cut the extra piece to length, drilled two new holes to fit the luggage rack, and tightened them down with two short bolts. It's a very clean look, and aluminum is very easy to polish up.

Thanks again for a great product.

I also like the higher profile look. Got any close-up pictures? I would like to have a better thought of how you accomplished your mod. Picture says a thousand words.

Here are some close-up pics. Nothing fancy. Just two pieces of aluminum clamping down on the luggage rack with some rubber gasket material in between so that the chrome doesn't get scratched and so that the flag mount doesn't slide around.

good work and you didnt go to HOME DEPOT! your local ace thanks you for that! :D

I last sept ordered a set of flags from RP for the lisc plate mount then made my own mount cause theirs sagged and sucked. Glen has the same type of plate mount great work on that part and the price is much better than the one from RP and it wont SAG!!!!!!!!!

Do your flags fly ok at speed or do they do the spin backwards thing? That was the reason I took mine off finnaly after making my mounts for the 3x5 flags for PGR stuff I made the short pole versions for daily drivers. Good work on the mound the bending and twisitn to the proper angles can be tough but it looks GREAT!

Dave - Very cool. Those are some big flag poles you've got there! Yes, the flags fly the right way, but they are in the "wind tunnel" so they don't flap around excessively. Overall, they look good. Thanks for the kind words.

Yota - great minds think alike  BTW, does this qualify for admittance to C.R.A.P.?
