Arnold did for golf, what Hulk Hogan did for wrestling. I met Mr. Palmer, many years ago at one of the Senior Opens that were held in Ohio. I stood at the side of the putting green, waiting to get his autograph when he walked off. He saw me waiting and beckoned me over to him. He asked me "Can I help you", and I told him I was asking for an autograph. He said he would, if I would shag the balls for him while he was putting from 15 feet away. Once he made 10 in a row, I would get my autograph. It didn't take him long. I wished it had lasted much longer. My Dad was looking on (who I was getting the autograph for) and was completely envious, watching me shag and return the balls to Mr. Palmer until he had dropped 10 in a row. GREAT memory. He will be missed.
