How many of you wear a jacket this time of the year? If you do what kind? I never have but I took a bad spill 20 years ago. And now with kids and a family at 40 years have thought about it.

There are 3 or 4 of us that do. Dennis Kirk has them on sale right now. I ware an AVG mesh that is ok as long as you are moving. ic

I have a Joe Rocket Meteor mesh jacket. It is fine when moving. I wouldn't want to get stuck in a traffic jam for a long period of time though. I like it and wear it all the time when riding.

Should ... but don't. I'm aware that "Stupid hurts" and it's a decision I make consciencely. I am over 21 (way over), footloose and fancy-free. I ride very defensively and have long since gotten over riding agressively. Now, that being said, if the old lady in the Caddie, the young girl on the cell phone or the drunk ******* has my number - I just hope that it kills and doesn't mame. Been riding for more than 100,000 miles and have been down twice. Both times were MY FAULT.

You do what you think is best. When you stand before God - you won't have any of us there with you.
