I went to a breakfast meeting today then went west on Hwy. 14, stopped in Mazomanie for gas because it was $2.999. When I got to Gotham I took 60 west, was going to go to Prairie du Chein & Pikes Peak park in McGregor, IA. Took some alphabet roads down thru the valleys and up the ridges. One road turned to gravel but went along the ridge through the trees. It was only about 8' wide, glad there was no on coming traffic, it was Excelsior Rd., lots of fun. Then I came to the intersection of 131 and remembered Rockton! I had barbecued chicken for lunch, lots of Harleys there. Continued north, took a rustic road through the Amish area. Every buggy driver waved at me, had to stay alert and look for horse momentos on the road. Again, up and down, great views. Took Cty X in Monroe cty. toward **** Valley, then took P to Cashton. Stopped at my aunt's house, she wasn't home. Got on the interstate in Sparta at Hwy. 26. 90 minutes later I was home, cruised at 80-85 most of the time. Gas remaining gauge read 9 miles so I filled up, 272 miles on 5.275 gallons of gas. Rode about 325 miles today, gotta get in condition for the two week bike vacation that's coming up soon!

Hope you had a chance to get out, it was a beautiful day!!

I though it was a bit cold out there, I did how ever get about 200 miles on by days end, but it was cold, I know you can all give me crap about it, but I like riding in a tank top, and not feeling even the slightest chile, I like it very hot out side.

Me and 4 other bikes rode about 200 miles through the twisty roads of the Indian Reservation near Shawano yesterday. It was a good ride although it looked a little funny with my X, a Glide, and 3 crotch rockets.
