can anybody tell me exactly where the freaking handle bar dimple (S)is to line up my new rivco 4'' risers. or is there a special trick . did what directions said tightened front bolts first . afraid to torque rear ones to much had a gap left open on the rear side after tighting bolts between risers and top clamp . should these be completely flat or did i get something wrong help :x :( :oops:

I have the 1800Retro just did my new risers, and did it three time with the right tourqe settings, and I still get the gap, once in the front twice in the back, it seems like thats what im going to have.

If you mean the index dimple mark the shop manual refers to
to rotate your bars to the right spot, mine didn't have one!

They must forget to punch it sometimes.

I put a piece of tape around the bar next to the stock riser and made an index mark on the tape to find the same spot again.

It is kind of a moot point anyway, because you may want to rotate
your bars up or down for better comfort after installing the new risers.

thanks guys . the gap had me worried thats why i asked . but now i realize that if there is no gap you cant tighten them down because there will be no place to go thanks everyone :D :D
