I'm looking to change stock for a short/medium buckhorn style and was wondering if I needed to swap cables or reroute?? After a while the stocks are causing shoulder pain and I need to seat with my elbows bent more with the bar coming back to me. Similar to the Honda 1100 Sprite style. I notice that the F's bar are knurled with a 4 inch span between them. Is this a requirement or can I do without ?? Any suggestions ??:tools:

you can fit almost any bar, knurled or not, that is one inch diameter ...

however, if i may, you may also want to look at risers and your seat
at the same time ...

I went with aeromach 6" risers and a cafe bar, mustang seat ...

completely changed the seating position.

Risers may be a good place to start,
look at your seat and whether its helping or hurting,
then bars ... because you will need new grips ...

there is a bar comparison chart somewhere that maybe someone
will post for you ...

I'm planing on getting a Corbin single seat which will lower me somewhat so I'll have more back support so I want to get the bar first then if needed different risers.

I too had the same problem. the solution was 6 inch aeromach risers.Less costly and you don't have to worry about the cables:doorag:

Similar to the Honda 1100 Spirit style.
The Spirit handlebars were the most comfortable ones EVER! Risers will help your F, but I can't imagine my F ever being as comfy as the 1100 Spirit was. Very natural position.

Yes I have some seller's remorse :(
