I have a 2003 VTX 1300 retro and would like to go from the stock headlight to a LED but I am not sure what is the best way to go. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

The H4 Led which has been around for a few years with mixed results
on the beam pattern. I probably installed 3 different versions of H4 Led.

Now the "Daymaker" style headlight has become popular.
Better beam pattern.

At the top of the page is a "Search Community", type "Daymaker" or "H4 led"
and read. Daymaker bracket fit HD products only. 2017 things started to happen.
Danow here on the forum made his own bracket. I made own bracket in 2018.
Both DIY bracket versions are in the forum. I can adjust my height setting.
Some brackets required shims to aim the headlight.
Some brackets were 3D printed.

Then someone came out with a bracket that would mate to VTX headlight rim bracket.
Others will chime in.

Examine the beam patterns carefully.
They have several different style lights.
Some better than others.

I just bought one. It's just been shipped. If you go to the website you will find maybe a half dozen style & brightness options, and I believe they all come with the newer adjustable bracket. Some are available with a full time daytime running halo. I chose the B2 model, for $160.
