Hey guys,

I just bought a (new) to me air box, the bike I bought came with a hypercharger but no stock box, I may want to do the decap mod so I was able to track this down for $75

From looking at the Bikebandit break down after buying it I dont think its complete.

Here are the pictures of it, if you can tell me what some of these parts are would be great.

Looks complete to me, but I have not messed with the stock air box since 03.

In the third pic you have a cap for the top of the carb and two carb gaskets. Possibly one gasket between the carb and the air box. Not sure about the other one. I don't know what the blue thing is.

Is Part #5 a Oring style gasket?
or is that the foam backing on the air filter?

Looks almost complete plus a couple u/i extras. In pic #4, I don't see the rubber o-ring gasket that fits into the grove all around the opening to the airbox. The chrome cover sits against it. In pic #3, you have the stock filter, the metal top to the carb slide, on the right of that is the gasket between the airbox and the carb. The u/i stuff in pic 3 is the blue piece and the gasket next to it. Bassdude did a very good thread on decapping that airbox over on the Cafe. Looks like all you need is that o-ring rubber gasket and a k&n filter.

I agree with SUMDATX...The two black gaskets and the blue thing are not stock.

One small thing your missing on the bottom back of the Airbox is the Drain tube and Plug. items 10, 27, 28 and 1. Without it you'll leak some oil on the engine.

Make sure you have the breather hose, items 12 and 13, also.

This may seem a bid odd but in the third photo the two black gaskets look to me like the gaskets for a 2003 Suzuki Volusia final drive where it attaches to the universal stem. I used to have one is why I know. However, it is possible these gaskets are common for other applications.

thanks for the link, I will order parts 1,10,27 and 28.

When I got the bike it already had the hypercharger on it, would the breather hose part 12 and 13 be connected to the hypercharger? if they would have been removed with the stock air box I will have to buy them too then.
