Well seems like when it really comes down to it. Honda is not any better than any other bike company.You would think that they would like to take care of Loyal customers,not true. You would think that they would offer assistence when needed,not true. Honda's distributor messed up an order and shipped a wrong part(1) and Honda does not want to settle this and make sure that the right part has been recieved and thier customer be happy.
So it comes down to this,am i pissed. Yup!
Am i digruntled,Yup!
Will that other bike be bought next week? Nope!
Are they going to loose a couple Loyal Customers? You Bet!
Will i keep what i have now? Not sure yet.
WE are starting to shop elsewhere first thing tomorrow!

Are you refering to a dealer or someone that sells Honda parts? Did your bike break down or have something wrong with it or did they just send the wrong part to you? Please clarify your rant for us.

What ever gave you the imprssion that they cared to begin with?
they ignore you when you go in to buy at most Honda dealers
and could care less if your happy with the service at the other half
I bought my last Honda ANYTHING in 2002

So, are you gonna throw a hissy fit when the next manufacturer does something not to your liking? You call yourself a " loyal customer "?
How can you call yourself loyal when in the face of adversity you abandon ship?

I am a 'loyal customer' of one Honda dealer where I live. Ya know when I bought my VTX I had them order parts. The clerk stood there in front of me and said " you need this kit because you have an R model". I agreed and the order was placed. Parts came in all wrong, and I felt the clerk or the distributor screwed up. Knowing that the owner of the company would want to know about this so it can be prevented in the future, I, being the LOYAL customer I am went straight to the owner and relayed the story to him. He talked to those involved and it was straightened out.

Now how loyal would I have been to that company if I just said " screw it, I am going somewhere else ? "

I'm just asking, that's all !!!!!!

I love Honda.
They replaced my water pump out of warrenty and have great customer service if you call them direct.Some of the dealers are bettor than others but its that way everywhere.
They are very loyal to there dealers and thats why you cant rent Honda cars from rental companys as Honda only sells there cars to dealers.

well I called them direct about my 02 that oil fouls the r/r plug
( a well documented problem that Honda doesn't acknowledge )
and they could care less if you are unhappy or decide to never purchase anymore of their products.........
was given the attitude of we got your money this time :arrow:
And everything was a addressed in a calm and professional manner on my end.
So this year alone I purchased 2 new cars and never looked at a Honda
and it's great that they are loyal to their Dealers......... but if the dealers do not have repeat business then eventually Honda wont have anyone to be loyal too :idea:

And whatever you do, do not buy a headlight for a CB250 from them.

DAMN!!!!
