Went to the dealer today to get a couple of cans of cleaner/polish and they said the best product Honda ever made was discontinued!!

NO WAY!!

I never used anything that would even come close to working like the polish/cleaner Honda sold. That stuff was sex in a can as far as I am concerned!

Does anyone know the story behind this injustice?

They're reformulating it or something. No worries HDL has the old stuff in a new label. :wink:

It is still sold by the company that actually made the polish. The can looks almost exactly the same but has no Honda logo.

I think this is the replacement.

Your dealer should have the replacement stuff. It works just as good. It is just McGuire's spray detailer in an aresol can anyway.

It was still available down here at least a month ago, which is the last time I got it from the dealer. I was also getting it at a discount through a friend who has a body shop, and he can't get it anymore either.

I wish I didn't miss that thread, I would have stockpiled it and made some money on Ebay!
