How much is a 2003 R with a killer paint job and 65K miles worth?

I see low mileage VTX's at $6,000 on craig's list.

When we bought the Roadmaster this year they would only give me $2-3K for the X (2005 1800N) so we decided to keep it.
They are worth more in sentimental value and fun than resale.

I paid 3500 for my 03 with 65,000 miles on it last Feb.
no killer paint but it really doesn't add value unless you really like it.

Thanks Charlie, That's about what I'm thinking.

JW, Keeping isn't an option.

Oh man, bummer about having to quit riding. I'm not sure what I'd do if I had to quit, probably go all mid-life crisis and get a convertible. :joke:

Too cool you've got your daughter riding. As a biker, it's great to see new riders, as a parent, it's always a little scary watching them ride away.

Very cool about your daughter man!!! Those little 250 ninjas are quick. Should be a fun ride for her. I used to have a Wrangler...and with the top down and doors off, it was a similar experience to riding the bike. I loved it, but found myself riding the bike most days the top would be down on the jeep LOL Rain still sucked in either

The wife was mess Anna started riding. I thinks she's settled down some now.
