I let the wheels on Red get a little dingy and I prefer not to have to pay to have them polished. Can I get some advice? What products would I use besides elbow grease and Mothers? Should I use 0000 steel wool? Tools?

Google and Youtube will be your best friend for this. There are literally hundreds of videos showing you How To polish aluminum wheels. Cars or motorcycles, they are the same aluminum so you don't even have to limit the search to just motorcycle wheels. Your wheels have NO clear coat on them so no worries there

White Diamond polish will make quicker work of the wheels than the Blue Magic.
If you're interested in getting them back to perfect, check out my maintenance log and you'll see how I turned my oxidized and pitted wheels into a chrome like finish. A ton of time and elbow grease, but not much money at all
