Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my bike did sell, a great guy named Russ from Carlisle picked it up this morning. He found the pictures here on this site.

He said he is going to sign up soon, so lets make sure we give him a warm welcome once he does!

It was a great time guys, and I may be back around in a few years.

Well, I kept having people who were very serious about some offers, but were out of state, and would ask me to wait ya know? I wasn't pushing it either if you know what i mean :) I wanted it to stay for a while!

gone but ??

Hey Josh
Old bikers never leave biking, they just take breaks! You will be back maybe not on a Honda but you will get the bug again  Another time another bike will grab you. The speed and wind in your face all memories that will never leave you. See you on the road, or a bike gathering !!

Josh,

I'm sorry you had to get rid of your baby, but I understand there are things that come up in life that require some change. Hopefully things will all work out and you will get another bike in the near future. You know you are always welcome on the message board, and we expect you to come around, drop in and tell us how things are going with you, the job and the bride.

I think I know what the problem was.... you moved away from those Dollar Pitchers and that blew a hole in your budget. Am I right ???

Now about this new guy that got your bike.... did you screen him real good to make sure he is worthy of your VTX ?? lol: . We look forward to hearing from him in the near future.

Josh, I know what it's like to have to get rid of a scoot. Had to do it more the once in my lifetime. With a new family situation priorities are important. Hope this hiatis is short for you & hope to see you back in the "saddle" someday soon. As I told you before, it was a pleasure to have met you, and to have ridden with you. Keep the rubber side down & the shinny side up my friend. Keep in touch, hope to see you on the board every once in a while to let us know how you're doing.

Hey Gang,

This is Russ (the guy who bought the bike from Josh). I sent the email in with the information so I just waiting on a reply.

Great to be part of the group and I look forward to riding with you all.

Josh, I was in the same boat you are in just 12 years ago and I sold my bike. I was in the Navy and was perpetually deployed and for three years never sat on the seat... so I sold the bike and the rest is history.. Like they said, you will be back, you're just taking a break...

All the best,

Russ

hahah great to see you signed up russ!

BTW: I TOTALLY miss 1$ pitchers, we acctually went to good old days on friday night this weekend to party, oh do we miss it.

Where else can you pay 3$ addmission, 2$ for two pitchers (obviously just for your self) listen to karaoke and then pass out? !!

And of course, this is only a break.
