If its raining, what should I do if my VTX is hyper charged?

Wear a rain jacket. The filter is charged with oil and will be just fine in the rain. Wash the filter once a year and recharge with the K&N Filter oil

I've had no problems in rain with this filter. Got caught in rain so bad I couldn't see, had to pull over under a bridge. I did put a rain cover on when it calmed down a bit. I keep the cover in my bags.

You can't put a cover over a hypercharger, you'll likely break the small plastic gears that control the butterflies. Besides, you don't need a cover, I rode all over the country in light drizzle to torrential downpours and all my K&N filters did just fine in them from motorcycles to my cars and my trucks
