I tried a search but got way too many responses back.

I just bought my Dark Side tire, a Goodyear Trippletread 205/60/16.

IT LOOKS HUGE:shock:

Can I be sure this will fit up into a Retro rear fender?

Yes, it'll fit. I know some of the 1800 guys slip the plastic trim ring off the hub and inflate the tire completely once it's inside the fender.

Yup, I found that deflating the tire and weaseling it in at an angle to get around the dust ring was enough to get mine on. Removing the dust ring and deflating the tire should give you more than enough room! 8)
