We just goy back from 2 days at the Hoot and 5 days in the southwest corner of Virginia.
While we were gone got my internet service back.
Hoot was a bust , ( they wouldn't let our mascot Lizzie in ) She'd been there twice before , they said it was posted on fliers and web page. H~#% we just rode down there.
We got some good ridin in though.
Met up with CG, ToTall, & EatinMachine, Racer, & BigDave.
Did the Dragon , didn't see one but almost ran over a bear. not sure who was more scared him or us :? .
Then to Virginia to do some camping and more riding. Grayson Highlands State Park. Beautiful view leaving the park every mornin, elev. arround 4500ft.
Rode another motorcycle Icon , "THE SNAKE" Highway 421, 489 curves, three mountians, one valley.
Great motorcycle country, not comercialized like the smokies.
Would be great to do a group ride down there and stay for a few days.
We rode 2200 miles and loved every mininute of it.
Sorry to be long winded but its been 2 months since I was able to post.
